Board of Directors
Mr. Lunder serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of DeepOcean since September 2018. Mr. Lunder has 30 years of experience in senior executive positions, mainly as Chairman and CEO of large public and private owned companies. His last position was CEO of the Fredriksen Group, one of the world’s largest family groups with investments in shipping, oil service and fish farming as well as a variety of other investments. Mr. Lunder served before that as Chairman and CEO of Vimpelcom (Veon), one of the world’s largest mobile telecommunications companies. He has also held the position as President in Ferd Capital (a Norwegian family group with a broad portfolio of indirect and direct investments), during those years also serving as executive Chairman of Aibel. Mr. Lunder has also held the position as CEO of Ementor (Atea) executing a re-structuring of the company creating the largest IT infrastructure company in the Nordics. In his early day Mr. Lunder was first in the banking industry and then in different executive positions in Telenor, building their domestic mobile business. Mr. Lunder holds an MBA from Henley Business School. He is currently working as an independent advisor, investor and Chairman.
Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director
Mr. Mikaelsen serves as Chief Executive Officer and Executives Director since May 2018. He has 30 years of experience in the global subsea business holding various senior executive roles. His most recent position was Executive Vice President at Subsea 7. Mr. Mikaelsen began his career in the oil and gas industry with Kvaerner Rosenberg A/S in 1988. He then moved to Norske Shell before joining Subsea 7 in 1992. He holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Trondheim in Norway.
Terje is a senior industry expert at WestPark. Prior to joining West Park, Terje spent five years at Eitzen Chemical ASA as President and CEO. At Eitzen, he was responsible for the world's third largest chemical tanker fleet, integrating five acquired companies and building the company's operational platform. Before that he was Executive Vice President with Fred. Olsen & Co. for seven years. He initiated and led the restructuring of the group's renewables business into Fred. Olsen Renewables AS, where he was the CEO. Terje has also been President and CEO of BT Shipping Ltd, a NASDAQ-listed oil tanker company and worked as Managing Director at Pausco AS. He has a B.A in Business Administration from the University of San Francisco. Terje is the Chairman of the Board of Nordic Tankers AS and Herning Shipping AS.
Fredrik is an Investment Advisory Professional at Triton. He is the co-head of the Energy, Resources and Chemicals sector, and responsible for coordinating Triton’s investment advisory activities in Norway. Prior to joining Triton, Fredrik worked in investment banking at the Global Communications group at Citigroup in New York. Before that, he was in Citigroup's Equity Capital Markets group. He has a degree in Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania Fredrik is member of the Board of Cubility AS, Nordic Tankers AS and Herning Shipping AS
Chris has 30 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry. He has been with Royal Dutch Shell for 20 years, prior to which he worked for a Major EPC Contractor in international projects. He currently holds the role of Vice President Projects. Chris is British and holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree from Teesside University in England. He is a Registered Project Professional with the Association of Project Management, is accredited by the Shell Project Academy and is a Shell approved Technical Authority in Project Management.
Amardeep Singh Chandi
Amardeep Singh Chandi is currently an Investment Analyst at Caspian Capital in New York. Prior to joining Caspian, he was an Associate at KKR on the Special Situations team focused on public and private North American distressed investing. Prior to joining KKR, he was an analyst at Morgan Stanley in the Investment Banking Division. Mr. Chandi graduated as a Leslie Wong Fellow with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from the University of British Columbia.
Mr. German Curá is the Vice Chairman of the Board of Director of Tenaris SA. He served as Tenaris President of North America until May 2, 2018, a position he held since 2006. He was first employed by Tenaris Siderca in 1988. Previously, he served as Tenaris Siderca Exports Director, Tenaris Tamsa Exports Director and Commercial Director, Tenaris Middle East Sales and Marketing Manager. During his tenure with Tenaris, he also was named, President of Algoma Tubes, President and Chief Executive Officer of Maverick Tubulars and President and Chief Executive Officer of Hydril. Mr. German Curá was also a member of the Board of Directors of API and currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI). He is a Marine Engineer from the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires and a Master of Business Administration graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
