DeepOcean Group, Inc. (“DeepOcean Group,” “we,” “us”) shares the concerns of visitors (“Visitors,” “you”) to our Internet world wide web site (located at http://www.deepoceangroup.com (the “Site”)), which is hosted in the United States, about the protection of your personal information online. This privacy policy (the “Policy”) describes our practices regarding the privacy of information that we collect through the Site, which is hosted and operated from the United States. This Policy does not govern our collection of information through any web site, or by any other means, other than through the Site, or the collection of information by any other DeepOcean Group entities and affiliates (collectively, “Affiliated Entities”).

By using the Site, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Policy. If you do not agree to the terms and conditions of this Policy, please do not use the Site.

This Policy represents the sole, authorized statement of DeepOcean Group’s practices with respect to the collection of Personal Information (defined below) through the Site and DeepOcean Group’s use of such information. Any translation of this Policy including to P3P shall have no legal validity.

  1. Information DeepOcean Group Gathers Through the Site.DeepOcean Group gathers two basic types of information through the Site: “Personal Information” (for purposes of this Policy, information from which an individual can be identified), which you may but are not required to provide to DeepOcean Group, and “Aggregate Information,” which DeepOcean Group automatically gathers through your use of the Site.

    1. Personal Information. You do not have to provide Personal Information to use the Site. However, in order for you to take advantage of particular opportunities provided through the Site (for example, to contact us or request information), we may require that you furnish Personal Information. We collect Personal Information from you only when you voluntarily provide it to us. Personal Information may include, without limitation, your contact information (such as your name, postal address, telephone numbers and/or email address).

    2. Aggregate Information. When you visit and interact with the Site, DeepOcean Group and third parties with whom DeepOcean Group has contracted to provide services to DeepOcean Group may collect information concerning your actions – for example, a catalog of the Site pages you visit. This type of information is generally collected from two sources: server log files, and cookies.

      1. Server Log Files. Your Internet Protocol (IP) address is an identifying number that is automatically assigned to your computer by your Internet Service Provider (ISP). This number is identified and logged automatically in our server log files whenever you visit the Site, along with the time(s) of your visit(s) and the page(s) that you visited. Collecting IP addresses is standard practice on the Internet and is done automatically by many web sites.

      2. Cookies and other technologies. Cookies and other technologies such as pixel tags and web beacons are used by most web sites, and can facilitate Visitors’ ongoing access to and use of a particular web site. These technologies do not cause damage to your computer systems or files, and only the web site that transferred a particular cookie can read, modify or delete such cookie. If you do not want information collected through the use of cookies, there is a simple procedure in most browsers that allows you to automatically decline cookies, or to be given the choice of declining or accepting the transfer of a particular cookie, or cookies from a particular web site, to your computer. You should note, however, that declining cookies may make it difficult for you to use the Site. For more information on cookies, see http://www.cookiecentral.com/faq.htm and http://www.privacychoices.org/.

  2. Use and Disclosure of Information DeepOcean Group Gathers Through the Site.

    1. Personal Information. DeepOcean Group may use your Personal Information to provide you with any information you may request and other emails updating you on DeepOcean Group and Affiliated Entity news and events. You may opt-out of receiving these emails from us at any time (see “Opt-Out,” below). We will not share your Personal Information with third parties, other than as set forth in this Policy.

From time to time we may use your Personal Information to email you important information regarding the Site or changes to our terms, conditions, and policies (“Critical Emails”).

We share much of our data, including your Personal Information, with our Affiliated Entities throughout the world. To the extent that these entities have access to your information, they will follow privacy practices no less protective than our practices described in this document, to the extent allowed by applicable law.

Finally, not withstanding any other provision of this Policy to the contrary, we reserve the right to disclose your Personal Information if we believe that we are required to do so: (a) by law; (b) to comply with legal process or governmental requests; (c) to enforce our Terms of Service; (d) to protect our operations or those of any Affiliated Entities; (e) to protect the rights, privacy, safety or property of DeepOcean Group, the Affiliated Entities, you or others; and (f) to permit us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain. As an example, we may, to the fullest extent the law allows, disclose Personal Information about you to law enforcement agencies to assist them in identifying individuals who have been or may be engaged in unlawful activities.

    2. Aggregate Information. We analyze Aggregate Information in order to track the popularity of certain pages of the Site, the success of our email notifications, traffic levels on the Site and other usage data, all of which helps us to improve the Site, related services, and to gauge interest in the Site and DeepOcean Group. We reserve the right to share Aggregated Information, which does not personally identify you, with Affiliated Entities and other third parties.

  3. Other Important Notes Regarding Our Privacy Practices.

    1. Third Party Service Providers. Without your consent, DeepOcean Group will not sell, trade, or disclose your Personal Information to third parties that want to market products to you. However, we work with third parties who provide services including, but not limited to, web site hosting, data analysis, and other services of an administrative nature. We may share your Personal Information with third parties for the purpose of enabling third parties to provide services on our behalf.

    2. Security. We have implemented technological and operational security processes to help protect against the loss, misuse, and unauthorized alteration of the personal information under our control. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, although we strive to protect your Personal Information, we cannot ensure the security of any information you transmit to us through or in connection with the Site.

    3. Third Party Sites. The Site may contain links to third party web sites. These linked sites (including, without limitation, the web sites of Affiliated Entities) are not under DeepOcean Group’s control and we are not responsible for the privacy practices or the contents of any such linked site, or any link contained in any linked site. We provide such links only as a convenience, and the inclusion of a link on the Site does not imply endorsement of the linked site by DeepOcean Group or any Affiliated Entities. If you provide Personal Information through any such third party web site, your transaction will occur on such third party’s web site (not the Site) and the Personal Information you provide will be collected by, and controlled by the privacy policy of, that third party. It is important that you familiarize yourself with the privacy policies and practices of any such third parties. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POLICY DOES NOT ADDRESS THE PRIVACY OR INFORMATION PRACTICES OF ANY THIRD PARTIES.

    4. Opting-Out and Removing your Personal Information. From time to time, we may ask you to indicate whether you are interested in receiving emails and other information from DeepOcean Group. If you elect to receive these communications, we will occasionally send you emails or other information that matches your requests. Later, you may elect not to continue to receive these communications from us by following the “unsubscribe” instructions at the bottom of any such email. You may also remove your Personal Information from our database by contacting us either by email at webmaster@deepoceangroup.com or by regular mail at 10001 Woodloch Forest Dr, Suite 610, The Woodlands, TX 77380, in order to stop receiving these communications from us. 6. Use of This Site by Children. DeepOcean Group will not knowingly collect, use, or disclose to third parties any personal information collected from children under the age of 13, and we are committed to complying with applicable laws and requirements, such as the United States’ Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

    7. Assignment. We reserve the right to transfer any and all information that we collect from Visitors of the Site to a third party in the event of a sale, merger, assignment, joint venture or other transfer or disposition of a portion or all of the assets or stock (including, without limitation, the Site) of DeepOcean Group, including, without limitation, in connection with any dissolution, bankruptcy, or similar proceedings.
