DeepOcean’s experienced and dedicated in-house project teams manage, survey, design, engineer, procure and install array cable networks, whilst utilizing an in-house fleet of installation vessels and burial equipment.

DeepOcean’s primary array cable installation vessel is the Maersk Connector which is specifically set up and ideally suited to wind farm work providing lay spread, accommodation, tower team, survey and trenching tools from a single platform. The vessel has under deck cable storage tanks and a unique powered coiling system, enabling DeepOcean to carry between 5,000 and 7,000 tonnes of array cable in a single load out, ultimately reducing installation time and cost to client.

In addition, DeepOcean operates a number of vessels, including; the Deep Endeavour, Havila Phoenix, Volantis, and Rem Forza that provide under deck cable storage, can accommodate DeepOcean’s 2,000 tonne capacity carousel or back deck reels for array cable installation.

DeepOcean has successfully delivered a number of subsea array cable projects on BARD 1, Robin Rigg and Alpha Ventus offshore wind farms.
