Charity Summer Ball Hailed A Success

Over 300 tickets were sold before the event, aimed at raising vital funds for the charities. Both DeepOcean UK and JDR Cable Systems are committed to raising money in support of local charities and the glittering Summer Ball raised £15,607 which will be split equally between the charities. Of the 17 incredible auction items, it was the Christiano Ronaldo signed and framed football shirt, purchased by Henderson Engineering (NE) Ltd and donated by Simon James of DeepOcean, which raised the greatest interest and bidding activity. The shirt realised £490, helping boost the total amount raised on the night.As well as the grand auction, the night also featured over 150 raffle prizes, music and spectacular entertainment by Ruff Diamond, who were runners-up in the Sky 1 competition Got To Dance.
