Specialising in services including survey and seabed-mapping, subsea installation, seabed intervention, inspection maintenance and repair (IMR) and decommissioning, DeepOcean will be showcasing its vast fleet of DPII vessels, survey, trenching and burial tools in Hall H, Stand Number 864‐3.
As the most mature exploration region in the world, the North Sea remains the most important region for DeepOcean. More than fifty per cent of the Company’s revenue comes from North Sea operations, which has been a home market since 1993.
DeepOcean is the leading IMR contractor in Norway, with seven vessels in full operations in the area. It has a pool of state-of-the-art subsea service vessels, ROVs and deep water Module Handling Systems specially set up to perform IMR workscopes. The vessels carry experienced offshore crew familiar with IMR operations, whilst a dedicated project team of skilled engineers are continuously working with operational planning and engineering in order to carry out this work successfully.
DeepOcean is also the largest service trenching provider in the North Sea, with an unparalleled track record in the burial of pipelines, flowlines, power cables and umbilicals using specialised marine trenching equipment. DeepOcean is unique in its ability to be able to provide the full range of high technology trenching equipment including mechanical trenchers, ploughs and jetting ROVs, which are supported by a fleet of dynamically positioned vessels, flexible installation and shallow water spreads as well as engineering and project management.
