Edda Freya Naming Ceremony Held At Kleven Yards

The new vessel has been built to DeepOcean’s specifications by shipowner Østensjø at Kleven Yards. More than 100 invited guests witnessed god mother Kjersti N Bårdsen, wife of DeepOcean’s COO Mads Bårdsen, successfully break the champagne bottle against the vessel side with all her best wishes for the vessel. DeepOcean has already been awarded some work at a.o the Maria field for Statoil in 2016, and all parties are looking forward to first operations with the cost efficient and energy friendly solutions built in to the new design.
